Simulation
Our virtual environments are created using Unreal Engine 5, customized with our proprietary extensions. Quality and complexity are defined to match the needs of every project.
A simulation allows us to capture data and situations that would be unfeasible and expensive in real-life.
In the case exposed, we setup a scene that procedurally randomize cars, people and number of trolleys. Position and orientation are jittered to avoid repetitive scenes.
Different lighting conditions and cameras are used to generate a labeled dataset that is suitable to be used as a training starting point and evaluation for an AI model.

Automation
Volume Scanning
This R&D project concluded with the creation of a machine for volume scanning and dimensions measurment, using multiple Time Of Flight cameras.
This allows for the calculation of the volume occupied by objects of both large and small sizes by detecting their dimensions, with scan times in the order of 2 seconds, ideal for situations where time is critical.
Multi camera
The absence of moving parts guarantees low maintenance costs.
Multiple Time-of-Flight (TOF) cameras capture the scene for maximum coverage and ensure a clear view of the items.
Thanks to advanced data analysis, operators near the machine are automatically excluded. This enables a smoother work environment that is required in the logistic context.
